Peter Simeonov
Executive Director
Peter Simeonov leads the Bulgarian Economic Chamber. He is responsible for managing the executive office and, together with the Board of Directors, committee members, and other Chamber members, for developing and implementing the Chamber’s programs and strategies.
 

Dimitar Petrov 
Head of Government, Public Affairs & Lobbying
Dimitar Petrov serves as liaison between businesses in Bulgaria and other countries and the government entities. Dimitar Petrov is responsible for engaging with members to conduct economic climate surveys, policy studies, and advocacy efforts. He is also tasked to increase the Chamber’s presence in through conducting business missions and engaging with partners.
 

Elitsa Plamenova
Head of Corporate Governance
Elitsa Plamenova advises large multinational companies on corporate governance issues.
 

Tsvetomir Tsvetkov
Head of Research
Tsvetomir Tsvetkov contributes to domestic and regional Chamber’s publications and analyses. She is also responsible for engaging with the Bulgarian government, organizing and implementing regional business missions, and supporting the Board of Directors.
 

Nikolay Dimov
Head of Membership 
Nikolay Dimov leads the membership engagement team and is responsible for implementing growth and retention strategies for the Chamber.
 

Violeta Vassileva
Head of Marketing, PR & Business Development
Violeta Vassileva is responsible for marketing, recruiting and retaining members, PR, business development, and enhancing membership growth. She works with member companies to maximise their brand exposure through marketing collaboration, advertising and sponsorship vehicles.
 

Elena Georgieva
Head of Corporate Events
Elena Georgieva is responsible for managing and executing Chamber’s events which include breakfast meetings, luncheon briefings, conferences, seminars, round tables and social events. She sources speakers and identifies topics that are relevant to the business community in Bulgaria, and is also responsible for planning and managing Chamber’s annual AGM.
 

Bozhidar Kirchev
Head of Programming and Committee Relations
Bozhidar Kirchev is responsible for managing Chamber’s 10+ industry focused committees, as well as, all Government related events. He works closely with the Committee Chairs to produce relevant and timely topics for each committee.
 

Teodora Mutafchiyska
Head of Finance and Accounting
Teodora Mutafchiyska is responsible for Chamber’s finance, accounting, and prepares the monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors.
 

Anna Tomova
Head of Administration
Anna Tomova is responsible for Chamber’s administration and prepares the monthly reports for the Board of Directors.
 

Peter Argirov
Head of IT & Support Services 
Peter Argirov manages the Chamber’s technology systems and ensures our IT assets are maintained.
